IMAGE ANALYSIS USING C.R.A.P. METHODOLOGY
IMAGEANALYSIS USING C.R.A.P. PRINCIPLES AND VISUAL
Inthis assignment, we are tasked to provide an image analysis based onthe picture shown above. At present, there are lots of ways toprovide constructive thoughts on an image file which can be an veryeffective method for its development. Among these variety of waysthat are applicable in the image shown above, two techniques thatshall be used are the C.R.A.P. (Contrast, Repetition, Alignment,Proximity) principle and the Visual Rhetoric Video Lecture.
Fromthe method itself, the C.R.A.P. principle is focused mainly on theoverall design framework of a particular image, a slide presentation,or an audio and video file. In the particular image file shown, Iguess that there ain`t no any problem or issue with regards to itsdesign framework. For the image contrast, the picture provides a goodblend of colors which make it more simple, yet a very attractive one. When it comes to the repetition of elements, there is a uniformstyle, size, shape, color, and line elements shown in the image. Thus, there is a good repetition between the image and textualelements provided. The textual and image alignment also has a superbcombination which provides a clean and fresh look of the overallimage. Proximity, on the other hand, is also a good criteria in thegrouping of elements shown in the image. Thus, in the image shownabove, the textual representations were group together as well as theimage provided.
Inthe Visual Rhetoric Video Lecture, on the other hand, the pictureshown above signifies an image that has a meaning to its audience. For an image to be effective, one has to provide either a direct orindirect way of promoting a defined meaning or message into it.Moreover, the overall balance between its elements shall not sufferbecause of the complexity of design. For me, there seems to be noproblem regarding the viewpoints related to the lecture. Hence, inassessing the overall image design, I did not see anything whichlessens the attractiveness and the power being shown to the audience. For the image shown above, I can say that the image file has a gooddesign framework.
